Hey there readers!

As my audience continues to expand, so has “The Candid Scientist”. Here’s an update on some of the features I have added that you may have missed somewhere along the way:

• First and foremost, you may have noticed the new logo at the top of the page. This is a fairly recent update. Pretty, aint it?
• Don’t forget to keep up with the Science101 series so you can brush up on those basic science principles.
• I’ve recently added a new book reviews section to the blog. As I read through science-fiction and science-non-fiction literature at home, I’ll be posting which books are good and easy to understand, as well as which ones are boring and/or too technical! Be sure to check them out using the link in the left hand column
• Check out some of the new artwork I posted to my DeviantArt account. (Note to self: I should probably just stick to writing.)
• Lastly, read through a recent interview I did with LaChouett to learn a bit more about me and why I blog.

Anyways, thank you all for continuing to support my exploration into science communication! So far it’s been a wild ride, and hopefully, someday this might blossom into a career :)
